£600,000 awarded to create the UK’s first permanent migration museum
We are delighted to be a founding partner of The Migration Museum, the UK’s first permanent museum dedicated to exploring how the movement of people to and from the UK has shaped our history, culture and society.
Set to open in spring 2028, the Migration Museum has spent more than a decade engaging audiences in a programme of exhibitions, events and educational outreach. Its new home, in the heart of the City of London, will create a permanent cultural asset where the rich stories of migration, including a digital collection of thousands of written and oral histories, photographs, films and personal ephemera, can be better appreciated and understood.
