Funding for places of worship
We provide funding for places of worship of outstanding historic and architectural significance to undertake conservation and restoration work. We award grants through two routes:
Fabric repair grants for churches
We support the conservation and restoration of churches through a dedicated programme administered by the National Churches Trust.
Please make applications and enquiries directly to the National Churches Trust. Applications can be made through their Medium Grant or Large Grant programmes, depending on the size of the project.
Historic buildings & landscapes
We support the conservation, restoration and interpretation of places of worship of other faiths through our funding for historic buildings and landscapes. Cathedrals can also apply through this programme.
