Projects we’ve funded

We are committed to being as transparent as possible. We work with the 360Giving Initiative to publish our grant data.

By publishing our data openly and in a standard format we hope to contribute to improved analysis of philanthropic giving. 360Giving is developing tools that will help funders and fundraisers make use of grant data.

We have used the 360Giving data standard to create a spreadsheet of all our grants awarded between 2014 and 2025: Wolfson Foundation grants (XLSX).

This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This means the data is freely accessible to anyone to be used and shared as they wish. The data must be attributed to the Foundation.

Archive

The Royal Society in London manages the Wolfson Foundation’s archive which consists of all the grant files from 1955 (when the Foundation was established) to 1992.

For online access to the archive’s catalogue search the Royal Society website.
